Careers and Work Experience
Careers at Forest Oak is taught through stand alone careers days as well as cross-curricular links through the rest of the curriculum. Learners are helped by staff to run the daily tuck shop, complete enterprise events and fundraising. Over their years at Forest Oak learners engage in several visits to both workplaces, careers events and to other educational provisions that they may wish to consider in their futures. These visits include: Forest Oak Sixth Form, Woodlands College, Blossomfield College and the National School and College Leavers Show.
All pupils receive individual careers guidance by our independent careers advisor who is able to help learners and their families decide on the right course of action and placement for them.

Dave Hooley is an independent consultant who supports the students at Forest Oak with transitions to both college and Sixth Form.
