Welcome to Forest Oak School Attendance Page.

We consider your attendance in school very important as it will enable you to learn new things and gain your accreditations when you reach Key Stage Four.

It is essential that you attend regularly and arrive at school on time.  Both are qualities that will be required by your employers in the future.  Only illness or an extreme family need is considered reasonable for absence from school.

WE WILL NOT AUTHORISE ANY TIME ABSENT FROM SCHOOL FOR HOLIDAYS DURING TERM TIME UNLESS THERE ARE VERY EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES.

School will investigate any unexplained absences as quickly as possible.  

Here at Forest Oak, we have lots of rewards for good attendance for individuals and for classes.

You can see below where your class is in the Rapunzel's Tower Attendance Climb for Years Reception to Year 6 or in the Attendance Bike race for Year 7 to 11.  These are also displayed on the noticeboard inside the school reception.  See also the target boards for the attendance your class achieved the previous week.
